Taronga Conservation Society

Sabai’s favourite thing is bath time — it’s messy, sloppy, fun and silly. But when Sabai asks his mother what her favourite thing used to be when she was little, he discovers that she had a very different childhood. Taken from her family as a young calf she was made to beg for food on busy city streets in Thailand, until one day she was rescued by a zoo keeper and brought to Australia.

The proceeds from the sale of this book go to support the Taronga Conservation Society’s conservation programmes. Including the breeding of a self-sustaining Asian Elephant population to ensure the future survival of these endangered animals.
